Wholesale Bit-stream Service (WBS)

The Wholesale Bit-stream Service (WBS) enables licensed operators in the Kingdom of Bahrain to offer high speed products and service to end users via connections over a digital pathway across BNET’s network. Using our Bit-stream service, licensed operators can provide high-speed broadband connections to customers with speeds ranging up to 1Gbps.

We are responsible for the Kingdom’s communication infrastructure reaching nearly every household and business in the country.

Wholesale Data Connection (WDC)

The Wholesale Data Connection (WDC) Service provides symmetric, synchronous, dedicated and uncontended data connectivity within the Kingdom of Bahrain.

It facilitates licensed operators to connect their services to enterprise customers, business customers and interconnectivity with other licensed operators. The WDC Service is available to Access Seekers that are licensed operators and is provided with several options.

Mobile Data Service – Active (MDS-A)

The Mobile Data Service – Active (MDS-A) provides uncontended, symmetrical, dedicated point-to-point private leased circuit service within the Kingdom of Bahrain between an Access Seeker’s Core Mobile Site and a Wireless Radio Site.

The MDS-A Service is available to Access Seekers holding an appropriate Mobile Individual Telecommunications License.

Fiber Fronthaul Service (FFS)

The Fiber Fronthaul Service (FFS) is a point-to-point provision of dedicated Fiber connectivity, between the Equipment of the Base Band Unit (BBU) and of the Remote Radio Head (RRH) of the Mobile Network.

The Service is available to Access Seekers holding an Individual Mobile Telecommunications License.

Core Connect and Landing Station Service (CCLS)

Core Connect and Landing Station Service (CCLS) is a high-speed circuit on BNET’s dedicated fiber active network, over a specified bandwidth within the Kingdom of Bahrain, between two Core Network Sites of an Access Seeker; or an Access Seeker’s Core Site or Landing Station.

The CCLS Service is available to Access Seekers holding an Individual Telecommunications License.

The CCLS Service is designed for an Access Seeker’s own internal operations and not for provisioning a service to End Users.

Service Node Facilities Management Service (SNFM)

The SNFM Service is an access service more particularly a co-location as rack space where the Access Seeker’s Equipment is installed in BNET’s exchange building in an area which may also house the BNET’s Equipment or other Licensed Operator’s equipment, unpartitioned from the Access Seeker Equipment and from each other.

The SNFM Service is available to Access Seekers holding an Individual Telecommunications License.

Strategic Partner Access Service (SP-Access Service)

The Strategic Partner Access to Passive Infrastructure Process (SP-Access Service) refers to a process following the Decision by the Authority to grant access over BNET’s Facilities to facilitate the provision of services to a designated Strategic Partner in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
    
The Strategic Partner Access Service to Passive Infrastructure (SP-Access) is a service connecting a Strategic Partner Point of Presence and an Access Seeker Point of Presence through BNET’s Passive Infrastructure.

The SP-Access Service to Passive Infrastructure is available to any Access Seeker that has received a written, specific and verifiable request from a Strategic Partner for the provision of access to BNET’s Facilities in the manner.
