Manama, Bahrain: His Excellency Mr. Ni Ruchi, the Chinese Ambassador in the Kingdom of Bahrain, visited Bahrain Network (BNET) Headquarters in Hamala with an accompanying delegation on Wednesday, June 7, where they looked over BNET's progress and achievements in the implementation of the national telecommunications objectives, as well as its efforts to expand fiber coverage in the Kingdom of Bahrain, offering access to fifth generation networks for mobile communications, connection to international cable systems, and other international standard wholesale communications services.

His Excellency the Chinese Ambassador and his delegation were welcomed by BNET's CEO, Mr. Ahmed Jaber Aldoseri, and executive management. Throughout the visit, BNET presented its achievements, including its fiber coverage in the Kingdom of Bahrain, its strategic relationships, and a tour of its Service Management Center and Network Operations Center. Mr. Ni Ruchi lauded the good relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the People’s Republic of China, affirming the importance of strengthening the cooperation particularly in the field of information and communications technologies. He further commended BNET’s efforts to ensure the highest level of operational excellence and effectiveness.
