As part of its Strategy for Cloud Solutions BNET Selects SAP as its Technology Partner for ERP Solutions

Bahrain's National Broadband Company ‘BNET’ has announced the selection of SAP as its technology partner to implement cloud based ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Solutions built on AWS (Amazon Web Services).

This step forms part of a series of initiatives that support BNET’s strategy to adopt cloud based technology in all its operations, which will reflect positively on its performance and the level of service it provides to its direct and indirect customers.

S/4 HANA (high-performance analytic appliance) solutions from SAP were selected after careful research and in accordance with detailed technical criteria, to ensure their compatibility with the Company’s enterprise solutions requirement, specifically in areas related to artificial intelligence, process automation, data analytics, and the flexibility of cloud based solutions.

“As part of our commitment to supporting Bahrain Vision 2030, our real-time solutions will support BNET in digitizing internal platforms and processes to transform customer experiences,” said Reham Almusa, Managing Director, SAP Bahrain. “By listening, understanding, and acting on customer experiences with broadband services, BNET is ideally-positioned to deliver the next-generation services that support business innovation, consumer happiness, and diversified economic growth.”

BNET selected ‘Seidor’ SAP’s Platinum implementation partner, to implement SAP’s cloud based solutions in the Company. Seidor was selected due to its vast experience and its understanding of BNET’s requirements.

BNET CEO Mohamed Bubashait commented, “We have adopted a clear technological strategy since the launch of the Company last October, that is based on digitalisation.”

“S/4 HANA solutions for enterprise is the latest cloud based solutions offered by SAP, offering an excellent ability in collecting and processing data in real time that is based on artificial solutions. This will enable us to provide intelligent solutions that are based on real data,” he added.

BNET also chose SAP SuccessFactors, another cloud based solution built on AWS, to manage its human resources and implement its talent strategy, which revolves around three main pillars; attract and develop specialised national talent, empower Bahraini women in the telecom field, and build a strong work culture through clear principles that are based on patriotism and serving the Kingdom of Bahrain.
