Dr. Mohamed Tayeb Mahmood appointed Chief Technical Officer of BNET

Manama, Bahrain: Bahrain Network (BNET), the national company responsible for providing fiber-based broadband network in the Kingdom of Bahrain, is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Mohamed Tayeb Mahmood as its Chief Technical Officer (CTO).

Dr. Mohamed brings approximately 20 years of extensive experience in technical leadership, operations management, strategic planning, and advisory roles. He joined BNET in 2022 as Director of Infrastructure, where he played a pivotal role in strengthening the company's technological foundation and meeting Government mandate for the roll out of fiber.

Dr. Mohamed holds an impressive academic background, including a PhD from Brunel University London, a Master's Degree in Internet Technology from Aston University in the UK, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Bahrain and other professional certificates.

On this occasion, Mr. Ahmed Jaber Alhogbani Aldoseri, CEO of BNET commented, “I am proud to have such a distinguished Bahraini expert in this critical position.
